12 x 30 January Week 4

Happy Monday everyone! I am sick and dragging today but we are one week closer to Spring so I can’t complain too much. Although tomorrow is supposed to be a high of 17 degrees. I think next winter I’m going to hibernate.

Here is my 12×30 Recap for last week:

Monday- I met my friend Renee in Little Italy to try Chiapparelli’s and LOVED it.

Tuesday- It snowed like crazy on Tuesday! Baltimore got about 6 inches of snow and I left work early to work from home. This photo was taken on Steve’s roof!

Wednesday- Tuesday’s snow continued into the wee hours of Wednesday. When I woke up for work I thought Steve’s thermostat was broken. Nope- it really was 7 degrees.

Thursday- My Julep Maven box came in the mail and I was sooo happy. Each of these polishes retails for about $14 but with this box you pay $20 and get two polishes and an additional product each month. The first month is FREE so I added two polishes for $5 on top of the 2 I was already getting. Deals on Deals on Deals! I haven’t had a chance to try them yet but I’m excited to test out the nude color this week.

Friday- I caught up with Katie and tried out a restaurant close to my house for some late night grub and wine. She is one of those friends who no matter how much time has passed you pick up right where you left off. We had too much fun and could probably be heard laughing on the walk home from the next neighborhood over. Love you boo.

Saturday- Steve and I went to Miss. Shirley’s for brunch and I would have shared that photo but I have so many photos from brunch flooding my Instagram that I couldn’t do it again. We went grocery shopping and both decided that we had a craving for apple juice. In less than three hours we drank almost the entire jug of juice. Sooo good

Sunday- This is the longest stretch of time I have ever seen snow on the ground and the coldest temps too. I decided that homemade chili and cornbread muffins were necessary for a chilly day (ha!)

The next few days wrap up the Photo a Day January portion of the 12×30 Challenge. February is focused on no unnecessary spending. Next Monday I’ll update you on the progress so far!
