One Door Closes, Two More Open

Today was my last day at CPI. The last year has been a huge learning experience for me and one that I am so grateful to have had. This was the job that saved me when my dream job was going under and then turned into a place that I could call home. I made real friendships with my co-workers, had amazing benefits, and was able to really prove to myself that I can do anything thrown at me.

However, supporting the CEO of a major corporation is not my passion. Over the past year I’ve enjoyed my job but I’ve felt creatively challenged and like I wasn’t living up to my potential. That’s when I knew it was time to get back into the events world that I loved so much. With that said, I am so excited to announce that I will be the newest Events Coordinator for the University of Maryland. But that’s not all; I also accepted a part-time position with Yelp as a Marketing Assistant! In the span of a month I will be starting two new jobs and I couldn’t be more excited/scared/nervous/amped!

I’m excited to continue working towards my own career goals and to immerse myself in the city I love. Planning events for one of the most prestigious schools in the country and working alongside a creative powerhouse representing Baltimore Yelp doesn’t feel real.

A HUGE thank you needs to go out to all of my family & friends for your continued support. xoxo
