Best Dress Ever

I am no fashion blogger. You all know that by now, but when I find something that is so incredible, I feel the need to share the love. A couple months ago one of my eastern shore friends found a Free People dress in her local Marshalls and when I saw it hanging in her closet I fell in love. Fast forward to two weeks ago when I’m browing the racks looking for new work clothes and I find the exact same dress on sale and in my size. I tried it on and it fit like a glove. It has lace cutouts on the chest, sides, shoulders and sleeves. When looking at the dress on a hanger it looks a little risque but it is far from inappropriate.

^ Dress is shown in color “Strawberry” (I couldn’t find a picture of it in black ANYWHERE!)

This dress is the perfect combination of girly and sassy, the thick fabric makes it perfect for fall with boots or winter with tights, and the cutouts give just a hint of sexy without being over the top. Beyond the way it looks was the price. This dress retails for $130 and I purchased it for $25. I know, my jaw dropped too.

I wore it for our anniversary dinner and felt so confident in it. Unfortunately I didn’t plan on doing a blog post dedicated to it so I don’t have the best photos. I do have a few that Steve took just being silly.

^ I am a sucker for a dress that twirls well!

I am now officially a lover of Free People and will be stalking their website for some more steals! Also- make sure to check out your local Marshalls, who knows what gems are hiding there!

It is really pretty. I love twirly dresses too! Wait until you have a daughter… She’ll be your biggest fan of a good twirling dress.

Twirly dresses are the best! I didn’t even realize this one twirled until I was running around rushing to get ready and Steve noticed it :)
