2015: The Year of an Open Mind

I love the excitement of a new year. 365 days of possibilities. 12 months of vacations, excursions with friends and family, milestones and new experiences.

I’ve noticed many social media posts about “resolutions”. I’ve made them in the past, but have I ever stuck to them? No. Last year I was doing the 12×30 Challenge thinking if each month had a theme I wouldn’t drop the ball. Four months in I realized I was the only person out of the twenty or so bloggers still participating. The organizers weren’t even participating anymore!

This year I’ve decided to forgo the resolutions and instead promise myself one thing: To have an open mind in 2015.

There are so many big events happening this year for me personally and professionally and I want to make sure that I don’t let anything pass me by. I want to travel, push myself to the limits, love harder than I ever have and be the best version of myself for those around me. I want to tackle some personal issues and grow through them.

This year I turn 25. My 25th year on Earth should be one of the greatest if you ask me.
