Slow Cooker Monday- Cinnamon Monkey Bread

I used to make monkey bread with my Dad every summer for the Delaware State Fair. I was in 4-H and loved making food and crafts to enter into the fair each year to win ribbons! When I was working on new crockpot recipes I thought about making monkey bread but I wanted to jazz it up a bit. Introducing cinnamon roll monkey bread!

Ingredients
  1. - 2 cans of cinnamon rolls
  2. - 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  3. - 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  4. - 1/2 brown sugar
  5. - 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
  1. 1. Unwrap the cinnamons rolls and cut each roll into four pieces
  2. 2. Place the granulated sugar and cinnamon into a ziploc bag. Place cut up cinnamon roll pieces into the bag and shake well
  3. 3. Lay one cans worth of cut up cinnamon rolls on the bottom of your crock pot
  4. 4. Melt the butter and add brown sugar mixing well
  5. 5. Pour half of the butter/brown sugar mixture over the rolls
  6. 6. Cut up the second can of cinnamon rolls
  7. 7. Shake them in the ziploc covering them in the cinnamon sugar mixture
  8. 8. Layer them on top in the slow cooker
  9. 9. Pour the remaining butter/brown sugar mixture on top
  10. 10. Cook on high for two hours
  11. 11. Let stand for five minutes before removing then drizzle icing over the bread and ENJOY!
