SOTD Recipes: Cast Iron Pretzel Pizza

I finally made something in my cast iron skillet!! Can we all just take a moment and pat my back for finally using them. They’ve been sitting in my kitchen for eight months, no big deal. Now that I’ve seen the awesomeness that is the cast iron skillet I have been tagging and pinning recipes like a crazy person.

To break in my skillets I made pretzel dough pizza. Go big or go home? Am I right?

Ya’ll this recipe is not for the rabbit food eater in your friends group. This is for that guy (or gal) who is ready to get down and dirty with a thick piece of pizza. I’ve learned a few lessons from my initial batch so the correct recipe is what you will find below but trust me when I say that some trial and error happened with this recipe. PS. THIS is the pretzel dough recipe I used.

If you make this pizza do me a favor and shoot your girl an invite!

Enjoy!
