Confessions P.5

It’s been a little while since I’ve done one of these and every time I start to draft a new confessions post I question why I even post these. My main motivation behind sharing confession posts is simply to be real with my readers. One of my biggest pet peeves is reading posts from bloggers who show only the highlights of their life. This is proof that I’m weird and have strange quirks just like everyone else!

*yes I walked through the harbor like that on a day that I forgot my rain coat and umbrella and it was time to leave work. There is no shame in my game.

  1. I’m slightly scared of our basement. Whenever I go down to do laundry I knock on the door first and then walk down. I’m afraid of things living down there.
  2. I’m not afraid of heights, but I am afraid of standing on the edge when high up. I have bad vertigo and the nosebleed sections of baseball and football stadiums freak me out. I will pay significantly more to sit closer to the bottom and not have to feel that way.
  3. In three months Byrd and I are moving and adding a boy roommate to the mix. This will be my first time living with a boy. Thank goodness he’s one of our best friends and thank goodness he’s not messy.
  4. I love wearing stripes. Even though I have three shirts that have black and white stripes I think they are all very different.
  5. I’m scared to drive in DC and New York City.
  6. When I was in high school I just KNEW that I’d be on Real World someday. In college when I experienced drunk people for the first time I decided I’d pass on that opportunity. Today I’m just glad I never did it because the thought of someone recording every thing I say and do is terrifying and very boring.
  7. I hate how much I shed. I have a dust buster that I use every morning to suck up my hairs from the bathroom floor. My future husband will appreciate this trait.
  8. I have a love/hate relationship with q-tips. They are absolutely necessary but the sound of cotton in my ear is awful. I get goosebumps every time.
  9. I ate two bags of candy corn in less than a month. I may never eat candy corn again.
  10. I have a boyfriend…surprise!
