Why Blogger Babes Are The Best Friends Ever

In mid-September last year I took a chance and agreed to meet up with three fellow Baltimore bloggers. Laura and I had been talking online for months, Macy and I had just recently met and Annie and I were brand new friends.

What if we didn’t like each other in real life? What if we had nothing to talk about? And most importantly, what if someone had a weird voice? Yikes.

There were so many worries going into this group brunch but two hours later we could barely peel ourselves away from one another and we texted almost immediately starting our group text thread that pings with a new message daily.

These girls stole my heart overnight and have quickly become three of my closest and most treasured friendships.  But seriously, being best friends with three other bloggers is the best!

They’re always down for a photo op

These girls get the need to snap photos whenever we are together. Not only to remember what a great time we had, but also to blog about later, duh! Whether we are candidly laughing (super awkward), jumping in the air or strategically doing the skinny arm on the hip pose, they get it. We know each others “good sides” and no one ever puts up a fuss if you want just one more photo.

They offer so much support with the blog

Whether one of us is thinking about switching platforms or another wants to host a link-up and wonders if it’s a good idea or not, we are always supportive and there to brainstorm ideas with each other! There’s no one else I’d rather talk about the new things I want to try like vlogging!

They always want to try new things!

One of the reasons I love blogging is that it forces me to get out there and do fun things. What would I blog about if I sat on my couch all week? The Blogger Babes are always down to try a new restaurant, go to a festival or hit up an O’s game. They love getting out and being social and spending time together!

They are down to be silly and LAUGH

They are super thoughtful

These girls are the sweetest. Whether it’s a text before surgery, a “just checking in” text during a particularly stressful week or simple words of encouragement I always feel loved and remembered.

They understand the importance of a planner and don’t mind penciling in plans

YASSSSS. I love these babes and the fact that they are ALWAYS willing to pull out their planners and pencil off a weekend for fun. Some people don’t like committing to activities or making plans too far out and these girls are quite the opposite. I’m becoming more flexible and am making an effort to leave one weekend free each month to do whatever I want to do, but its still so much fun to have plans to look forward to!

“Do it for the blog” makes total sense to them

I mean….. the table filled with plates of food photo from above was not a natural thing to capture and no the waitress did not put the food down in that perfect way either. Being a blogger can be weird and some of the things we do are strange, but totally worth it for the betterment of our website.  I never have to explain myself with these three.

I’ve said it already but it deserves mentioning again. These girls are some of the most supportive people in my life and I know that when life gets me down I can go to them to hash it out or just ask for some extra love.

I just love hearing about your group. I don’t even know a single blogger in my city, so I’m often a bit envious of you Baltimore babes…but it’s a beautiful thing for you to have! So sweet!

I LOVE THIS POST!! You nailed it with everything on this list. It’s hard explaining things like this to people that don’t have a blog. The best friendship that we all share is something so unique and special, I can’t imagine life and blogging without you all now. Exploring, planning and adventuring with the three of you has changed my life. Cheers to 10 months of friendship that seems like forever.
