Life Lately V.8

Busy. Busy. Busy. I’m plowing through all of my work responsibilities, preparing for the big move, spending time with friends and family, and the light at the end of the tunnel is November 6th. That’s when my world slows down until March and I can’t wait.

Don’t get me wrong, I love what I do but this year my personal life and work life are a little chaotic at the exact same time and it’s not ideal. But everything happening is good so maybe I should take the time to enjoy it instead of wishing it away…

Big Events

The biggest events that I produce for Waterfront Partnership are taking place this Saturday and Saturday November 5th (hence wishing for the 6th). They are both really great events and I can’t wait to see how they turn out this year. Most people don’t realize that my company only has ten employees and I’m the only person that produces about 30 events (big and small) each year. So when two events that are expected to attract up to 3,000 people each fall within two weeks of each other, it’s a little overwhelming!

Moving

I really can’t wait to share details with you all on the big move but its happening next weekend and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ll be sharing some packing/moving hacks that I’ve discovered this time around and hope that I can help someone out there who is about to go through a move as well!

Baking

Instead of packing up my kitchen I’ve been a baking/cooking fool and have definitely been putting in some work in the kitchen. Honestly, I looked back at the blog and realized I hadn’t posted food recipes in SO LONG. The point of this blog initially was to share at least one recipe a week. I’m not saying I will be going back to that, but I’m going to make an effort to share tasty recipes as I create them.

Rocksbox

My time with Rocksbox as an It Girl is coming to an end in November so I’m enjoying my last few boxes. I’ve genuinely enjoyed working with Rocksbox and hope to be able to support and promote them in the future.

Holidays

I’m looking ahead and getting really excited for the holidays. This will be the first year that Chris and I are doing them together so we will be splitting our time with our families.  I can’t wait to start new traditions and make new memories with the ones we love most.

What are you up to? What’s going on in your life lately?

I am so excited to see your new place and we still need to talk about everything around you finding this house! It will be so nice to have holidays with Chris this year! We didn’t see each other on the holidays until we were married (with the exception of spending Christmas in the hospital with Dave after his heart surgery) and I love having more time with him now. We are going to Buffalo for Christmas this year, and I am a bit nervous as to how that will feel. But at least we will be there together! I am excited for more recipes, I really can’t wait to make those cupcakes!
