One more in 2016

2016 is almost over. Its hard to believe. I can’t wait to share my recap of the year with you in a few weeks, but for now it’s time to think back on November and how great it was! Family time, the first full month in our new house and lots of  planning for the holiday season. It was a good one!

We have been in the new house for over a month and in love. Can you be in love with your own house? It’s everything I was looking for and more. We’ve gotten almost all the way settled and finally have artwork up on the walls. We only need a few more things but we are hoping to cross those off the list after Christmas!

My second large event this fall was at the beginning of November. We held the 2nd Annual Great Baltimore Oyster Festival. I was nervous that the weather would be bad but it was mild and sunny! Definitely better than the cold and damp day we had last year! We also sold more oysters than last year which was a pretty large number. I couldn’t have been happier with how the summer and fall season of events went.

I voted! This election was intense and I wish I could say the craziness is behind us but I really don’t think it is.

Since my other events were over, the ice rink opened! When I fell in love with event planning I never imagined that I’d be programming an ice rink at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor someday…

We celebrated Thanksgiving early in Philadelphia since my brother was unable to come home for Thanksgiving. We enjoyed italian food and good company and I wish we could do it again tomorrow.

My parents came to Baltimore for Thanksgiving and Chris and I hosted them in the new house! We had a blast, ate good food and went through about two weeks worth of coffee. There’s nothing better than sitting on the couch with your family and a good cup of coffee

Marley! Mar has been with us since Thanksgiving and is leaving today. I’ve never been this sad before to see him go, but he fit right in at the new place. Chris and I both loved coming home to a happy and jumping puppy and honestly enjoyed the walks and extra snuggles. It was a good sign though for things to come and we are even more excited about someday adding a furry baby into the mix.

How was your November? Are you still second guessing every time you write the date on papers? I am…

Ahh your November sounds like such a great month! I cannot wait to check out your new place – it looks like the perfect spot! I’m also sad that I missed the Oyster Fest this year. Last year was so much fun! Glad you had a great Thanksgiving girl! :)
