The Magic of Lights

There’s something about lights that makes my heart very very happy.

Maybe it’s the season I associate them with. The magic of the Christmas season filled with so much love and happiness.

Or a glimpse of lingering holiday decorations in February

Maybe it’s the sense of being guided along a walkway towards an unknown destination

Or the feeling of lights in an unexpected place that creates such an incredible glow

Maybe it’s as simple as setting the tone for a fun evening with friends

or maybe it’s the feeling of giddiness from knowing something fun is about to happen

Whatever it is, it makes me happy. And I’m all about finding and embracing things that bring joy to my life.

Speaking of lights- Light City brought a LOT of joy to my life last year and I’m so excited to have it back in Baltimore for another year. Mark your calendars for March 31st-April 8th to experience the amazing light display!

Love all these pictures! I’m a big fan of lights, too…they just add a certain ambience, no matter what situation they are in.

I feel the same way about lights. From a home decor perspective, it adds a sense of quiet intimacy during the evening hours that I’m a big fan of. :)

Yes!!! I love this! I feel the same way about lights. We live in a really small town and downtown there are a ton of lights strung up and i love walking down there at night.

I feel the SAME way!! This was a huge reason I was so stubborn and wanted the dance floor to be outdoors at our wedding. I wanted the bistro lights to twinkle in our photos and as we shared so many moments with those closest to us. I get butterflies overtime I see them lighting up a barn, walkway, or anything really. Can’t wait for light city!
