Week 22: Cinnamon Roll Pull Apart Bread

Cinnamon Roll

Remember when I made the Garlic Parmesan Pull Apart Bread? It was such a hit both in my personal life and with you guys that I immediately wanted to make another pull apart recipe. I think you all are going to love this Cinnamon Roll Pull Apart Bread recipe just as much if not MORE than the garlic bread recipe!

It smelled SO GOOD while it was cooking in the crockpot and I knew we were on to something when Chris said the house smelled like Christmas. There is no better compliment to give me while in the kitchen! The recipe is made with cinnamon rolls which are one of my personal favorite breakfast foods and bite size pieces makes me even happier! Sometimes a huge cinnamon roll is hard to commit to, but bite sized pieces? I can’t say no!

This is a great recipe for brunch, a sweet treat or to share with family and friends!

Ingredients

  • Two cans of cinnamon rolls
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Steps

  1. Remove cinnamon rolls from packaging, set aside icing
  2. Cut each roll into 4 pieces and place in a gallon sized ziploc bag
  3. Add sugar and cinnamon to ziploc bag, seal and shake well so each piece of cinnamon roll is covered
  4. Melt butter in a bowl and add in brown sugar, mix well
  5. Spray inside of the crock pot with non-stick spray
  6. Place cinnamon roll pieces on the bottom of the crockpot
  7. Drizzle melted butter/sugar mixture over cinnamon rolls
  8. Layer if you need to
  9. Cook on high for two hours.  Check at 1.5 hours as the sides tend to stick and can burn!
  10. Enjoy!
