July Recap

monthly recap

Happy first day of August friends! The summer is flying by but a small part of me is ready for the Fall temps, crisp leaves and pumpkin flavored everything. But only a small part. I still have an action packed August and early September to enjoy before Fall moves in.

What happened in July? I’ll tell ya!

We told everyone about Cannoli! We technically adopted Cannoli at the very end of June but we announced it to all of our friends and family and everyone on the blog at the beginning of July!

Chris and I went home over 4th of July weekend to lay in the pool and soak up some time with my parents!

I FINALLY went to Sandlot with Chris and his parents after the July Yappy Hour. We took Cannoli with us and it was so cute to watch him digging in the sand. He knows all about sand!

I celebrated two years with Waterfront Partnership! It’s crazy how fast the time has gone by and how much has changed since I first started.

Girls weekend was a hit! Mama, Emilie and I spent the day together in Hampden on Saturday and then we visited the venue on Sunday! It was really nice to have time with them to play tourist in Baltimore and to show my Mama a new part of Baltimore.

Artscape came to town and it was HOT! The hottest temperatures this month of course fell on Artscape weekend but we braved the temperatures and enjoyed the art.

Paddleboarding and Kayaking at Sunset Cove with Ultimate Watersports was so much fun. Every year after the Floatilla is over, Ultimate Watersports hosts us at their Sunset Cove location and we spend some time on paddle boards. This year we switched it up a little and did both SUP’s and enjoyed a nice relaxing cruise along in a tandem kayak. See the little person in hot pink sitting on the giant SUP? That’s me. I think you can tell which activity I liked more…

I enjoyed the Delaware State Fair with my parents on two days this year! I volunteered and judged photography exhibits with my Dad one day and then the following week I went back with my parents to enjoy a Rascal Flatts concert.

Dem O’s! We had our monthly blate at Camden Yards and invited the boys along too! Thankfully the Orioles pulled out a win and we had the best time! Laughing til my cheeks hurt is my favorite!
