Drugstore Lipstick Favorites

I love lipstick. If I don’t feel like doing a full face of makeup just one swipe of lipstick makes me feel instantly more put together. It can make or break an outfit and at this point I feel naked doing tv interviews without any. A little goes a long way and while I started last year dabbling in the lipstick world and stuck to mainly pink tones, I’ve started branching out significantly. Deep wine reds, taupey browns and corals have been added to my collection and I don’t hate it.

I’m no beauty blogger and I don’t spend a lot on makeup so I’m sharing my favorite drugstore lipsticks with you! Since I am still playing around and learning what colors that look good on me I am more willing to spend $3 on a new e.l.f. lipstick on the off chance that it totally doesn’t work. I’m willing to take that risk with under $5 lipstick, definitely not with $26 dollar lipstick.

No judgement if you drop the dollars for more expensive lipstick- you do you! But if you want to save some money here are my drugstore favorites!

e.l.f. Matte Lipcolor

This is my favorite lipstick of the three for many reasons: 1. The color is so so good and stays put! 2. They are $3 at Target 3. The application is super easy and clean with the pencil tip 4. There is a sharpener built into the lipstick!

I’m wearing Mulberry Maven in the photo above but I also own Berry Sorbet, Tea Rose, and Rich Red.

Find it HERE.

Maybelline Matte Lipstick & Color Sensational

The Maybelline Lust for Blush is my most used lipstick and almost every photo of me from Summer 2017 features this lipstick. I wore it on repeat! It was my first summer experimenting with lipstick so I’ve already bought a few shades that I am looking ofrward to breaking out in a few months. This lipstick is a solid staple and applies really nicely. I love the matte look that Lust for Blush has but I also own a bright coral shade that’s part of their Color Sensational line and I have a feeling it will be a summer repeat offender!

I’m wearing Maybelline Matte’s Lust for Blush in the photo above but I also own Blissful Berry and All Fired Up.

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor

The Revlon Matte Lipcolor is a long time favorite! This liquid lipstick has a smooth application, smells HEAVENLY and comes in really great colors. The sleek design of the container is another favorite feature of mine. I feel like this lipstick offers really great every day shades that I don’t have to touch up often.

I’m wearing Devotion in the photo above but I also own Forever, Embrace and Kisses.

I’m no beauty blogger and I don’t spend more than $10 on lipstick, no judgement but that’s just not me! I’m just here to share my favorite drugstore finds to hopefully save you a couple dollars and introduce you to a lipstick that you’ll love just as much as the $29 dollar alternative.

I’m right there with you. I’m not going to spend very much on lipstick, but it is the one thing I can put on the feel more put together, because I don’t often want to do a full face of makeup.

I love the look of the second one! How’s the staying power?

This winter I’ve been putting a coat of chapstick on first since the last couple months have been so cold and dry. In the summer it’s fine without and stays really well. When I use chapstick I have to apply again in a couple hours but I love that this shade only fades a little throughout the day.

YES, thank you for this. I seriously never spend much on money but lipstick is so important, ya know? I got the ELF lipstick per your suggestion and love it! Can’t believe it was only $3. Also, didn’t know I was BFFS with a model?! That’s so weird cause ya gorge, girl!
