Well Yes Soups

Y’all, its 2018. It’s hard to believe that another year is here so quickly but I’m excited for the new year of possibilities and experiences waiting to be had. I’m determined to start 2018 on a positive note and to continue that throughout the next 12 months.

It’s easy to get caught up in the woe’s of everyday life, the struggles that our country is facing and the hurtful words being typed on the Internet everyday. I’ve learned over time that we cannot change what other people are saying or doing around us, but we can change how we respond.

From here on out I’m focusing on responding in a more positive way and my number one inspiration for a cheerful attitude is COLOR.  Now I know that sounds a little corny and maybe a bit far fetched but I truly believe that one small change can transform your attitude and once you’re rooted in that mindset you should embrace it! So I decided to add more color into my daily life however I could!

But how? I started thinking about my childhood when life was so easy, careless and blissful. I sure would love to have that back! #Adulting

Unfortunately, it’s not an option, but in thinking back on my childhood all of my memories are bright and colorful. I took notes from those memories and dug deep to remember what I loved doing that was bright, fun and fulfilling. 2018 is going to be the year of saying yes to color!

I never went anywhere without my 64 pack of crayons as a little girl. I could color at school, on the weekends and even in church (shhh!). Whoever created adult coloring books is an angel- I have come home on really crappy days, poured myself a glass of wine and grabbed my coloring book and colored pencils!

Do you remember school field trips to cool museums with giant dinosaurs and touch tanks with stingrays? As an adult I still really enjoy visiting museums and learning new things. Baltimore’s American Visionary Arts Museum is just the place to brighten my mood, literally and figuratively. There are so many wacky, colorful and unique exhibits that you can’t help but smile while there!

Growing up I had a bright fuschia and teal jacket that I was OBSESSED with. Somewhere along the way I traded in that fuschia jacket for a black one that was work appropriate and thus began the love affair with dark and neutral clothing. BUT a maroon jacket is a step in the right direction of saying yes to MORE COLOR!

Now I’m not talking about the purple ketchup and tie-dye bread craze that came through during the 90’s (anyone else remember that?!), think vegetables that are all the colors of the rainbow! All Well Yes!® Soups are not only packed with good for you and colorful ingredients but the cans are bright as well.

A series of positive and inspiration words can be found on the top of each can. I love the smile that emerges as I peel back the lid and read the words to myself- “eat what you love”. I have loved Campbell’s soup for years (a given when your last name is Campbell and your nickname is Soupy) and grew up enjoying a bowl of soup with my family a few times a week! I surely do eat what I love!

The Well Yes! Soup line has 14 different flavors guaranteed to satisfy even the pickiest eater and contain purposeful ingredients that do not contain artificial flavors or colors. Color makes me so happy… and for some reason, I always choose black and gray clothes. Guess it’s time to stop that. #client
